It is imperative that we revisit the ownership of assault rifles and large magazine clips.
Sluggo does not advocate limiting the 2nd Amendment. Its purpose was to allow private citizens to defend themselves against a tyrannical government or to provide them self-defense.
It was never intended or envisioned that it would allow the capability to kill hundreds of people in a matter of a few minutes. In the 18th century, weapons had to be individually loaded with ball and powder and could only fire one shot in about a minute.
There is no reason for individuals to carry assault rifles and large magazines. They have no useful purpose. Banning them would cut down on the casualties on what is becoming frequent mass killings.
